'Naked Ladies' came 3rd overall at the Alton Beer Festival

Our 'Naked Ladies' won GOLD in the best bitter category and 'Gothick Dark' came 3rd (Bronze) in the milds category at Reading Beer Festival 2008. See their Award and Competition Winners page.

TFA supplied beers to the Great British Beer Festival, the largest festival in the UK.

The results of the "Champion Beer of Britain" competition were announced on the Tuesday afternoon. Crane Sundancer won the Silver Medal in the "Bitters" category, judged by a panel of brewers, beer writers and journalists. In the final round of judging there were over fifty finalists in eight categories including beers from tiny micros to major regional brewers.

We supplied beers to the Reading Beer Festival, one of the largest festivals in the UK.
There was a "Local Beer of the Festival" competition which included around 80 beers from 23 breweries located within 30 miles of the festival site "as the crow flies". This took place in the form of blind tastings on the Thursday afternoon before the festival opened and the results were announced soon after.

Crane Sundancer came 2nd in the "Session Bitter" category.
Daisy Cutter came 1st in the "Strong Bitter" category and then 2nd overall.

1st November 2006

Our seasonal beer Autumn Blaze was voted the "Champion Beer of the Festival" at the Twickenham Beer & Cider Festival 2006 by the public. 77 beers were present at the festival including several national award winners. Our ale Shelley’s finished fourth, and Daisy Cutter was tied for 6th place. Shelley’s was a special beer for CAMRA activist Shelley Winfield’s 50th birthday, commissioned by husband Ian as a surprise.

In the Peterborough & District CAMRA Beer Festival we won the Silver Award in the Strong Beers category with Daisy Cutter, only beaten by the overall winner. Full results can be seen on the CAMRA Peterborough & District Branch web site.

At the 7th Twickenham Beer & Cider Festival 2005 Twickenham Fine Ales wins both FIRST and SECOND beer of the festival prizes with Advantage Ale and Twickenham IPA.
